Inside and out this small assisted living home is the perfect place to call home. One of a group of 8 homes in The Woodlands, Spring and Kingwood this home gets high marks from me.
When I first entered the home it smelled heavenly. One of the care team was cooking lunch. The smell of homemade beef stew, mashed potatoes and stewed okra ( a special request from one of the residents.) This is what I love about these smaller homes. The food is fresh and the residents have a say in what is served. Everybody gets a say!
There were smiles every where and they residents all engaged in conversation with me. Two of the ladies I met were 99 years old! Ahhh, the stories they could tell. :-)
The owner, Terri and her husband are involved in the day to day operations of their homes and seem to be doing an amazing job. Besides the two live in care partners, they have a cottage coordinator , two nurses and of course the owners visiting from one home to the next.
Music therapy is brought in every other week as well as pet therapy, hair care services and much more. On cooler days residents can enjoy the outdoors and even garden in some of the raised bed gardens. Isn't it time your loved one deserved the best!
