They were sitting there chatting like old friends, the resident and caregiver. In the back I could hear someone singing "You are my sunshine!' to the caregiver who was with her. Delicious smells from the kitchen filled the room. When I asked a resident if they took good care of us she said right away "Oh yes!" but it wasn't her words but her eyes that told me she was speaking the truth.
This Personal Care home in the Spring Branch area of Houston is top notch in my book. They really focus on each person as an individual and look for ways to bring the best out in that person. The care in this home is easily felt.
